Join The Dori Tails Family!

1: Book a Free Video Consultation

Use the booking tool below to request a FREE 45-minute (max) video consultation with Owner and Head Tail Wagger Dori Taylor. We will talk about your pet care needs and our services and policies, and answer any questions you may have. If we decide to proceed then we will go to Step 2.

2: Host an In-Person Meet & Greet

This FREE one-hour (max) in-person meeting will take place in your home so Dori can meet you and your pets, see where leashes, food, critter enclosures, litter boxes, cleaning supplies, etc. are kept, and you can ask any remaining questions you may have. If the In-Person Meet & Greet works out for everyone, we will go to Step 3.

3: Finish Onboarding and Book Services

We will help you finish onboarding as a client, and help you book your first pet care services.

FAQs About Our New Client Process

Yes, an In-Person Meet & Greet session is required before we will agree to provide services. During this free one-hour (max) meeting, which will take place in your home, Dori will introduce herself to you and your pets. We will use this time to get to know you and to assess your pet(s) personalities. We will also take a tour to see where important supplies and equipment are located, and talk about key/code operations, camera locations, house “quirks,” and other things we need to know in order to provide care for your pets and to keep your home secure. You can also ask any other questions you may have before proceeding to the next step.

If your pet seems nervous or anxious during the In-Person Meet & Greet, we will be happy to work with them to help them feel more comfortable. However, please note that due to liability issues, we CANNOT care for dogs that have shown aggression towards people, or that are not up to date on their vaccinations.

Yes! You will get to meet our Care Team members before we assign them to walks/visits. We do our best to keep the same pet sitter(s) assigned to your pets, but rotation of sitters might be necessary due to the length of your vacation or sitter availability.

You don’t need to book services right away! We do recommend that you finish your onboarding sooner rather than later, so that when you ARE ready to book services, you can just do that. Just keep in mind that if you wait to book too long, your dog or cat’s vaccinations may expire and you will need to provide us with new certificates.
