Getting Started Is As Easy As 1-2-3
1: Book a Free Video Consultation
Use the booking tool below to request a FREE 30-minute video consultation with Owner and Head Tail Wagger Dori Taylor. We will talk about your pet care needs and how our services can help you. If we decide to proceed then we will go to Step 2.
2: Host an In-Person Meet & Greet
This FREE 30-minute in-person meeting will take place in your home so Dori can meet you and your pets, and you can ask any remaining questions you may have. If the In-Person Meet & Greet works out for everyone, we will go to Step 3.
3: Finish Onboarding and Book Services
We will help you finish onboarding as a client, and help you book your first pet care services.
FAQs About Our New Client Process
Yes, an In-Person Meet & Greet session is required before we will agree to provide services. During this free 30-minute meeting, which will take place in your home, Dori will introduce herself to you and your pets, assess your pets’ personalities, and take a tour to see where important supplies and equipment are located, key/code operations, camera locations, house “quirks,” and other things we need to know in order to provide care for your pets and to keep your home secure. It’s also a great time for you to ask any remaining questions you may have before proceeding to the next step.
If your pet seems nervous or anxious around your Care Team member during the In-Person Meet & Greet, we will be more than happy to work with both you and your pet(s) to help them be more comfortable. If additional visits are required to get your pet used to your Care Team member, they will be charged at the Periodic Drop-in Visit rate of $20 for 25 minutes. However, please note that due to liability issues, we CANNOT care for dogs that have shown aggression towards people, or that are not up to date on their vaccinations.
Yes! Also, while we assign a primary team member to care for your pets, we may call upon other team members to provide continuity of care. We do our best to keep the same pet sitter assigned to your pets, but rotation of sitters might be necessary due to the length of your vacation or sitter availability.
